i introspect several times whether i have the so called "Leader Ship" qualities ..i kept looking people who really above me "managers" ...
1) Be a better communicator by keeping Shut ....
I have seen lot of people blabbering so much when there is no need to talk at all ...So distinguish yourself from them by knowing when to speak and when to keep silent...
2)Cafeteria ...
Spend more free time at cafeteria ...the happening place ..you really get to know more about more people here ...try to understand their feelings
3)Pen and paper...
Try to put the ideas on a paper rather than on an E-mail , Word Document makes you think more ...try to produce the best of you ..edit and reedit and make the best ...
4)Spend more time with yourself ...
Know yourself what you are and what you are not ..
5)Read more to learn more ....
Reading is equally important try to understand cultures and customs i think this helps to put your ideas most efficient and understandable way wherever you are ..
6)Speak with your colleagues at the desk...
Be friendly with colleagues ..try to speak more and understand their work ...this helps you to learn smaller part of everything ....helps you to grow in the organization as you know what is happening around ...
7)Think before ink ...
Think 10 times before making a note of anything ...this increases the analyzing capability and helps you to look it from all angles ...
8)Try the Impossible...
Impossible is nothing .... situation people say is impossible , is possible at some cost try to find the distinguish factor between a true leader and leader ...

I like this entry. I agree with all of your points but why should we think 10 times before making a note of anything? Making a note once in itself increases analytical ability and helps to make you sound with concepts. But I'm talking from the point of coding, not a leader. :)
